Friday: i luv fridays...everyone just relaxes on friday.

i had a triple of hodge..but tht was alright since Hodge's lessons are always pretty bludge.

so pretty much did NOTHING.

And then after school, mum and I had to go to the police station to sign the insurance form thing...how gay

then went home...got ready...then went to N's LG

Saw C aka shoe girl and L. We used to be in the same LG until I became an intern.

I was talking to C and I was really really shocked. She was talking bout her 19 year old boyfriend, having a drink up (aka drink and throw up) and smoking.

Maybe Im just really sheltered but she's my age and she's throwing her life away.

And then apparently, L had suicidal thoughts...

Anyway, I might be going to their social on Thurs since my LG is on Fri.



Then went to the Leaders Retreat and that was really really good.

We were called for this purpose...to make a difference in the lives of these kids.

J and I brought C, D, L and B. I really do think of B as a future leader.

I can imagine her as a leader of some sort.

And guess who was sitting in front of me in the auditorium?? E!
Did not expect that.
So we went mini golfing, and I rode with M.
Got there, got a drink...and actually had a proper conversation with E...but that lasted only like...a few minutes.
Then I went to play mini golf with J, E, D and C.
We lost count like 5 mins in cuz E cldnt be stuffed recording...
so we just said I won. :)
I did pretty well though...I got pretty well at it after like...1 whole course :D
That was fun. I had a good time...
never thought i'd like mini golf...but I'd so do it again


School is sooo boring lately.
Had athletics today
I like high jump...though I kinda suck at it
1.10 was my best...
triple jump too...
i liked it as well...but once again not my best.

I ate sooo much!!
Had porridge (i thought it was mushroom soup), chips, wedges, spring rolls, salad, some sweet and sour thing...
there was soo much food!!!
Well...duh it was a 'all you can eat' but still....WHOAAA
AND THEN DESSERT!! There was cheesecake, mudcake, an ICE CREAM DISPENSER, coffee cake, some jelly thing (it looked sick) and then fruits.
Then there was the cake...it was HUGE

i had to share with R. She got a new phone. It looks awesome :)

I ate wayyy to much. Im still full.

Then went to Knox with K, I and S. We spent about 20 mins trying to decide whether or not to play DDR. hahahah ended up not. Couldn't be stuffed.
Walked around aimlessly...i want another leather jacket. Just not a cross-over zip thing.
A proper zip-up one...with a hood...that's long and not cropped.
Did pretty much nothing for 1 and a half hour...bought a boost...skinny minnie melon hahhaha

went to church...Dan was scaring me by climbing up and down a ladder...
got back...
and now my parents ditched me to go out to dinner at some buffet...
sheesh...they dont love me i swear!

Wednesday...it was COLD!!!
Nothing much happened today...
slacked off in double maths...watched tuesday with morrie in double health...slacked in english...and did pratically nothing in double lote.
Then played soccer in leadership in sports...
AND IM COLD!!!
So that's pretty much it.
Was watching M and CODE X today!!

Tuedays went to watch Transformers with ME.

i reckon it was pretty good...but the 1st one was slightly better.

So you ready for the long story??
here we go!

Got to Bali around 9.30 after 10 hours of excrutiating boredom on the plane and another hour of waiting.
We stayed at a hotel on the 1st night cuz it was kinda late and it would've been unsafe to drive at that time.
I got up early the next morning and just walked on the beach, prayed and read my bible.
It was beautiful. So peaceful and relaxed.
Then around 11 ish, we left for our 3 hour ride to Bringblingsari.
But, there was a jam so it took 41/2 hours instead.
The roads in Bali are scary!!
There's one road with 2 lanes going both directions.
Left and right there are trees and bushes.
If one car was going too slow, we would just cut across, go against traffic, where motorcyclists would be driving towards us, speed up and cut in front of them again!
There seemed to be no laws on the streets!
I saw 2 10 year olds each driving a motorbike and there was a guy with a rifle slung across his back!
There didnt seem to be an speed limit signs and the traffic lights were very well hidden.

Anyways, so we arrived at the orphanage late.
The kids come RUNNING towards us!!!
They open our doors, I get out and give us handshakes and hugs!
2 boys, Kadek and Andre grab my hands and took me for a walk.
They showed me the monkey and the dogs and ducks. So cute.
I was rooming with Sarah Nalder and Naomi.
They were the best roomies EVER.
They were so nice and funny. Sarah's lovely. Always made me laugh and was so generous and cheerful all the time.
Our toilet didnt flush however so we had to use a bucket to flush it down...ew

The 2nd day, I got woken up by roosters crowing.
They wouldn't stop!!!
It was SO ANNOYING!!
Played games with the little kids. They LOVED my camera! They just took it and walked around with it, taking random pics of people's boobs...awkward :)
We also walked 30 mins to a beautoful waterfall
There was a little boy named Agus and he grew very attached.
So cute
He was holding my hand and twirling and dancing.
I love him!!!

3rd day, played with the kids and brought them to the swimming pool.
It was BOILING hot!!!
They had so much fun at the pool.
There were slides and diving boards and everything!
Amazing!


4th day, woke up at 4.09 thanks to roosters again.
They are reallly starting to piss me off. I wanna kill it.
Naomi realised that she's missing about 700,000 rupiah which is $95Oz
Naturally, it was very upsetting.
She thought she might've lost it at the shops so we walked down there but nope, it wasnt.
Then I realised that my camera was missing.
Therefore, I turned my room upside down searching for it.
Couldn't find it.
Then I realised that my phone was no where to be seen as well!!!!!
OMG!!
IT WAS GONE TOO!
I started crying and panicking so bad.
It just so happened that last night, Kadek and another boy and went missing!

Therefore the suspicion is that they took it and ran.
I had a panic attack...
But I'm all good now...I think
Went to the waterfall (or Grojogan in Indo). This time, Massimo took us to the back of the waterfall.
It was WICKED
We were climbing on rocks and swinging on vines and jumping from rock to rock and trekking in water.

And Agus fell asleep on my lap!

5th day, we went to the church just down the road.
The structure of the church is BEAUTIFUL
There's skylights on the roof and the worship was different, but good.
We met some other Melbournians as well. Small world eh?
Then afterwards, i was in the shower and Agus was outside yelling, 'JO!!! JO!!!"
Sarah got so annoyed after awhile that she yelled, 'JO IN MANDI!!!'
I could not stop laughing!!!!
Afterwards, he layed down on my lap again and I was really tired.
So I started singing AND HE FELL ASLEEP!!

Rhys came and woke him up so he could go to his own bed and sleep.

6th day was our last full day here.
I don't want to nor do I know HOW TO say goodbye.
I'm not too good at them.
I dont want to.
I can still do so much more for them.
We took the kids swimming again and Casper was so adorable cuz he was scared of going down the slide.
So I would stand at the top of the slide and hold him and Shae would catch him at the bottom.
Rupit threw up in the pool though.
It was disgusting. He acted like it wasn't him but Alicia saw it.
Ew
Arjanya showed me the 2 little puppies.
THEY WERE ADORABLE!!
Then after dinner, we had a game night kinda.
The kids sang songs and we taught them some games.
We taught them Hokey Pokey, Duck Duck Goose (which we changed to Bebek, Bebek, Burung) and Limbo.
I sucked at limbo....
Talked to the older kids a bit more.
It's great to actually get to talk to them.
Had to persuade one of the guys to play Bang.
Rhys and Alicia were given hand-made cross necklaces carved out of coconut husks.
One of the 17 year old made it.
Everyone was so jealous!!
Arjanya was so upset. He saw me and said, 'Jo, I'm sad'
I went, 'why?'
And he said, 'because tomorrow you go'

But I told him some friends (another team) was coming in December and he cheered up a little bit.
Then he said that he loved me, alicia, naomi, shae, rachel, rhys, michelle and rosemary.

The next day was our last.
I played with the little kids, playing Bebek Bebek Burung.
Then as I was playing, the dude came up to me and gave me a coconut cross necklace!!!
YAY!
That was so nice of him!
It's really beautiful
Turns out only 4 people got one.
Rhys, Shae, Alicia and me.
Rachel was really upset cuz she really wanted one.
I felt really bad.
So we said goodbye...and left.
Came back to Denpasar and WENT SHOPPING!
We went to Kuta and Matahari.
Bargaining like mad!!
I got a dress, bracelets, anklets, painting, ring, shirt, scarf, wallet and a mini bongo (4 CLM)
And of course...DVDS!!!
Went to eat Mexican for dinner. YUM
Went shopping again after and bought MORE DVDs.

The next day Alicia, Naomi and I took a flight back to SG.
There we were greeted by Auntie S.
We were going to be staying at her house for the next few days.
I brought Naomi to see my old church and house.
Then I met Bonnie, the Hong Konger staying with Auntie S as well.
SHEs SO NICE
I couldn't sleep and neither could she so we stayed up talking till 4.30
We just clicked.
And shes 23...

So we touched down on Wed and on Thur, we went to Bugis Market and Junction.
Bonnie and A tagged along with Naomi and I.
Naomi bought some stuff but I didn't find much.
Ended up buying overpriced pocky....I got ripped off!!
Went to photoplus as well
My bro cant do photoplus.
He doesnt know how to pose! >.<
Then went to visit grandparents while B and N went shopping with MA
I got my eyebrows threaded. They HURT
Gong is doing well.
He looks healthy and can walk for a few minutes without his crutch.
Then went to meet MA, B, N and MA's BF for dinner.
Took like an hour to decide where to eat and another to get there cuz we kept changing our minds.
I got to try a Pina Colada though :)
A had to go back to camp cuz they lost a logbook or something.

So friday, N and I and A (he was back by then) went to Far East Plaza.
OMG!! THE CLOTHES THERE WAS GORGEOUS!!
I spent all together $150. :) oopsie
I got a beautiful dress thats strapless and cream for $50, an outfit (black T-shirt, white poof skirt and belt) for $50, ballet silver and black flats for $20, big brown handbag for $10 and a T-shirt for $10. Plus the $22 manicure, I spent a total of $162.
Oooooopsies.
It was so good though. I couldn't resist.
Then went out to dinner with GuGu and GuZang.
Had chicken rice. YUM
After, went with B and MA to see the Merlion. N and A went home early to sleep. LOL

On Saturday, went to VIVO!!!!
YEAHHH
Went shopping.
Met Jomin there too! She bought all of us a balloon animal.
I got a tiger, she got a butterfly and N got a horse. Mine was AWESOME
She's really great. We just clicked...it was as if I haven't gone away.
I taught her how to say 'G'day mate'. :) hehehe
She sounded FUNNY
It wasn't awkward at all like it always is with R
Bought jeans from Forever 21 ($48) and a top from Topshop ($39). Also got a pair of FBTs! ($14)
I love my purchases!!!
A nearly bought a $1ooo Armani leather jacket. It was half price though so it was $500.
It looked really good on him but he called mum up for advice.
Fool. Of course she would say no.
Listen to me!!! I'm the shopper of the family!
J, N and I then went to Bugis to take neoprints :)
Then we went to Bugis street to buy and anklet and then back to Bugis J to buy a box to put my wooden items in.
Then went back to Bugis S to buy another bracelet cuz J lost hers already.
Then walked down to Haji Lane where its filled with shops of local designers.
SO PRETTY
But I had no money so I couldn't buy anything! :(
What a shame
We had to leave around 5 so we would get back in time
Auntie S helped me to pack my suitcase since I obviously couldn't.
Went to Crystal Jade Shanghai in Changi Airport for dinner. It was YUM
Because N and I were Unaccompanied Minors (UM) we needed an escort to take us around.
In a way, it was very convenient.
We got to skip ALL the lines
EVERYTHING
And now, I'm back home...and my suitcase zip has jammed up on me so I can't unpack. GRR
Formal tomorrow...I accidentally brought A's camera back to OZ with me...Oh well
I'll use it tomorrow
